Can I book my tickets online and pay for them at the venue?

All bookings must be confirmed by payment on the website. There are several ways to make your purchase: credit card and E-connect cheque.

Can I bring my pet?

Leashed dogs and guide dogs are allowed on site.

Can I pay with holiday vouchers?

You can pay online using E Connect ANCV holiday vouchers. Paper holiday vouchers can only be used at the ticket office.

How do we get our tickets?

Once you have made your purchase, your tickets will be sent directly to the e-mail address you used to make the purchase. Don't forget to check your junk mail!

What items are prohibited?

Aerosols of any kind (for water sprays, please note that you will be asked to test them in front of the officer on duty), bags and suitcases larger than 15 litres, any dangerous object (cutters, knives, gas cylinders, etc.).

Why is only my name on all the tickets?

The tickets, sent by e-mail, are printed according to the name of the person who made the purchase. So there's no need to worry if the people accompanying you have different names.

Can I smoke on site ?

Since July 1, 2025, in accordance with the national decree of June 27, 2025, our cultural sites have been designated as smoke-free areas. Smoking is therefore prohibited on the site, at entrances, in covered areas and near outdoor educational areas. This measure is designed to ensure the comfort of all visitors, especially families and school groups. Please respect this rule to preserve the quality of your visit and the environment.

Do you organize night tours or dramatized tours?

Yes, during school vacations. To find out more, go to the “News” tab to see the castle's program.

How can I purchase my tickets?

You have two options: online at www.ticketsdordogne.com/en/1205-chateau-de-biron or directly at the ticket office.

Is Château de Biron still used for filming today?

Absolutely. Recent productions such as the series Fortune de France and the show Les Traîtres were filmed there in 2024. Every year, the château continues to attract cameras.

Is the site accessible to people with reduced mobility?

The site is not accessible to wheelchair users. There are numerous steps throughout the site.

Is there parking nearby?

Free parking is available near the site. Simply climb the stone steps to reach the castle gates.

Where can we eat nearby?

There is a picnic area at the foot of the castle, as well as a restaurant and grocery store in the village of Biron.
